Ensures a high reliability and proper performance per product requirements. Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommends corrective actions.\n\nQuality System Compliance - includes reviewing customer quality documentation requirements and ensuring supplier and compliance, working with Customers to obtain approval of deviation\n Sub Detail Component Qualification - Review supplier provided FAI documentation, validate details of FAI docs torequirements, obtain missing documentation and/or work with third parties to perform material validation in lieu of missing documentation.\nQuality Escape vetting and notification - when a quality escape is identified work with Engineering and Customer(s) to understand scope of escape and disposition options.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering\n5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or equivalent experience\n\nAerospace experience\nPerforms assigned responsibilities in planning and implementing quality assurance programs on customer orders. This includes but is not limited to: Inspection plans, measurement methods and recording forms; Quality assurance systems, methods and procedures; PPAP Key Quality Element development, i.e Process Flows, FMEAs, Control Plans, Capability Assessments, Production Monitoring; Statistical methods to control and evaluate process capabilities, where applicable; and Development of quality assurance data packages for customer review\nCoordinates quality activities with customers, suppliers, and third-party oversight bodies as necessary.\nReviews contractual requirements in specifications and drawings with specific attention to quality requirements and leads the development of compliance matrices for customer acceptance\nProvides leadership in acquiring and implementing improved QA techniques and processes and makes key processes visible.\nServes as the key owner and monitor for processes within the scope of area of specific responsibility.\nImproves and creates standardized quality processes. Ensures 100% quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility. \nProvides subject matter expertise while interacting with internal and external customers as well as suppliers by meeting regularly, responding to requests, and resolving issues as they may arise. \nAssists other departments as necessary in establishing standards relative to ensuring product quality.\nReviews and approves drawings in accordance with ANSI/ASME Y14.5M 2009 standard, routings, specifications, procedures and similar documents related to assigned projects. \nPrepares and provides detailed quality assurance inputs to such documents.\nTranslates customer, regulatory, and code requirements into Manufacturing Work Instructions, Quality Engineering Instructions and Control Plans.\nReviews, revises or writes inspection procedures.\nPerforms internal process surveillances and internal audits.\nConducts RCCA analysis and closure on customer returns associated with assigned programs\nReviews, evaluates, and answers customer correspondence.\nSupports in-process Hold/Witness Points at facility.\nParticipates in the preparation and maintenance of quality program manuals and related department and divisional procedures.
