Overview Industry:Aerospace/Defense Position: Quality Engineer Duration: On-going contract Frequency: 40hrs per week Compensation: $35/hr Job Description: Quality Engineer defines and implements quality assurance solutions to a wide range of complex issues. Ensures a high reliability and proper performance per product requirements. Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommends corrective actions. Quality System Compliance - includes reviewing customer quality documentation requirements and ensuring supplier and compliance, working with Customers to obtain approval of deviation Sub Detail Component Qualification - Review supplier provided FAI documentation, validate details of FAI docs torequirements, obtain missing documentation and/or work with third parties to perform material validation in lieu of missing documentation. Quality Escape vetting and notification - when a quality escape is identified work with Engineering and Customer(s) to understand scope of escape and disposition options.
