This role will partner across the organization to shape Verily’s narrative, build trust with key audiences, and support the mission of improving health outcomes through data-driven healthcare innovation. Reporting to the VP of Communications, this role will translate business priorities into clear, compelling communications and work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact programs.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and execute integrated corporate communications and media relations programs to elevate Verily’s reputation and stakeholder awareness.\nLead internal communication initiatives that align employees with Verily’s mission, culture, and business priorities.\nCraft executive communications, thought leadership, and messaging frameworks while building relationships with patient advocacy groups and healthcare providers.\nPartner across teams to deliver compliant communications supporting product launches, clinical milestones, and major corporate initiatives.\nSupport the VP of Communications with strategic planning, media prep, and cross-functional agency management across multiple concurrent projects.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, public affairs, or a related field.\nExperience developing and executing communications programs in healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, health technology, or another regulated industry.\nExperience supporting executives and driving cross-functional communications initiatives in a matrixed organization.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDemonstrated ability to translate complex technical/scientific concepts into compelling stories, paired with a strong healthcare/tech media relations background.\nFamiliarity with FDA regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and relevant healthcare policy landscape.\nProven success building trust and partnerships with patient advocacy organizations, healthcare providers, and external industry groups.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.\nStrong project management skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.\nQualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.\nThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $210,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
