Working closely with Product Management, Technical Solutions Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Data Science, and Delivery teams, you will help translate complex customer requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions while ensuring strong engineering quality, operational excellence, and long-term maintainability.\nWe are looking for an Engineering Manager who is passionate about building high-performing engineering teams and delivering impactful customer solutions. In this role, you will lead engineers embedded within cross-functional Solution Delivery Squads, balancing rapid customer execution with the development of reusable platform capabilities. You will drive technical execution, mentor engineers, establish engineering best practices, and foster close collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Commercial organizations to accelerate customer success while protecting the long-term health of the platform.\nResponsibilities\nLead, manage, and expand a team of 8-10 software developers.\nDrive project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.\nCollaborate cross-functionally to define and execute on the team's strategic goals.\nProvide technical guidance and make critical decisions to meet project milestones.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n3+ years of hands-on technical leadership and/or people management experience of a team of at least 10 software developers.\nProven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.\nFull stack web development experience.\nStrong expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.\nExperience with Agile development methodologies.\nEducation or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.\nExperience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS\nProven track record of building and leading high-performing development teams.\nThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $205,000-$230,500 + bonus + benefits + equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
