Your leadership will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and deliver impactful solutions.\nResponsibilities\nLead, manage, and expand a team of 8-10 software developers.\n\nDrive project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.\n\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally to define and execute on the team's strategic goals.\n\nProvide technical guidance and make critical decisions to meet project milestones.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n3+ years of hands-on technical leadership and/or people management experience of a team of at least 15 software developers.\n\nProven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.\n\nDemonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.\n\nStrong expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.\n\nExperience with Agile development methodologies.\n\nEducation or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.\n\nExperience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS.\n\nExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).\n\nProven track record of building and leading high-performing development teams.\n\nThis role is eligible for Verily-sponsored immigration support.\nThe Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD $175,000 - $197,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
