You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver personalized, data-driven patient experiences and core program architecture.\nResponsibilities\nShip Scalable Features: Design, build, and test high-quality components powering Verily’s data-driven health platforms.\nOptimize System Reliability: Diagnose and eliminate complex software defects, prioritizing root-cause fixes over temporary patches.\nOwn Project Delivery: Drive features autonomously from concept to execution, creating structured development plans and timelines.\nCollaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner across engineering and product teams to define requirements and architect innovative solutions.\nScale Your Impact: Master ambiguous problem spaces, generating technical ideas that expand your scope beyond just writing code.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development.\n3+ years of experience as a software developer in an industry setting.\n2+ years of experience with React.\nExpertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred).\nPreferred Qualifications\nDemonstrated experience with Go, TypeScript, and/or SQL.\nExperience with designing and implementing scalable data processing pipelines with BigQuery or other analytics-oriented databases.\nEducation or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively.\nQualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.\nThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000- $192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
