The role will manage day-to-day operations including forecasting material planning, warehousing, inventory management, distribution, customer services, and support. The role will manage relationships with suppliers, contractors and third-party service providers to the operations group. This role is a blend of primarily managing external supply chain operations, while also providing people leadership internally to operations specialists.\nPrincipal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:\nLiaise with leadership and business functions to drive operational activities and support business objectives.\nEvaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics.\nDirect inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation optimization, warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.\nManage the daily fulfillment of customer shipments by working with Verint’s third party logistics service providers.\nCoordinate and communicate with planning, production, shipping, and procurement to meet order requirements and set priorities to achieve on-time delivery and maximize inventory.\nRegularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and identify/implement improvements.\nOwn decisions and risks mitigators to execute on competing priorities and monitor specific supply chain-based Key Performance Measurement Matrix such as OTD (On Time Delivery), and MTTR (Mean Timer to Repair).\nManage relationships and monitor agreements with external partners/vendors.\nCreate policies or procedures for end-to-end supply chain activities.\nPlan and/or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.\nAnalyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective, productive, accurate or timelines objectives of transporting product or supplies.\nImplement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.\nMonitor product import/export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.\nNegotiate transportation rates or services.\nNegotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.\nPlan and implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.\nRecommend new or improved technology, such as automated systems.\nDevelop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.\nCollaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as sales, order management, accounting, customer support, product, NPI (New Product Introduction), and quality.\nDirect or coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.\nConduct or review environmental audits for logistics activities, such as storage, distribution, or transportation.\nLead a team of operations specialists to execute these responsibilities with your guidance.\nMinimum Requirements:\nB.S. in Industrial engineering, Operations, Logistics or other related discipline, or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum of 6 years’ experience in Hardware Operations & Supply chain and at least 4 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.\nExcellent analytical skills, experience with self-service BI reporting.\nUnderstanding of statistics, operation research and optimization of transportation networks.\nStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills.\nStrong communication skills and effectively presents information to leaders, employees, and customers.\nAbility to work independently and handle multiple projects.\nDriven, positive, and effective leader.\nStrong process orientation and developmental skills.\nFlexible working hours to accommodate a global operations organization.\nSuccessful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local
