We offer a dynamic and flexible work environment with competitive benefits and the ability to grow your career.\nThe Physical Security Analyst is responsible for managing physical security access controls and associated training and audits, conducting risk assessments of physical assets and implementing corresponding mitigation measures, and leading life safety programs and associated technology/infrastructure. The Physical Security Analyst will also assist with managing Verisign's security guard contract, and general operations for the Corporate Security Program, as needed.\nKey responsibilities:\nPhysical security access control management: access badge issuance and revocation, maintenance of access control technology requiring collaboration with internal engineers and external vendors, training of personnel on proper access control implementation. Responsible for analysis of access control reports to identify system anomalies and/or security risks and producing written remediation recommendations and summaries for executives. Responsible for SOC2 and internal audits related to access control program.\nLife safety program: updating procedures, leading annual drills (tornado/fire) and producing after-action reports, managing emergency communication system and delivering training to system users.\nSupporting guard management: updating security officer operations procedures, overseeing armed officer qualifications events and training program, and managing guard force contract during leadership absences.\nSecurity operation planning and general support to the corporate security program: developing and implementing security operations plans for company events, general support to the corporate security program which includes physical security, life safety, insider threat risk mitigation, travel security and supply chain risk mitigation.\nQualifications:\n5+ years’ general physical security operations, guard force management, access control administration and oversight of life safety programs\n3+ years’ related experience in law enforcement or the military, preferred\n3+ years’ Lenel experience, preferred\nStrong written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of stakeholders\nExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills\nExperience managing third party vendors\nSkilled in utilization of Microsoft Office Programs; Excel, Word and PowerPoint\nExceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills\nInitiative and ability to take on projects\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, required\nThis position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.\nThe pay range is $89,900 - $121,700.\nThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience.
