We follow a mostly Kanban workflow, adhere to GitOps principles as much as possible and value fast iteration, secure-by-default solutions and customer-oriented mindset.\nJob responsibilities:\nBuild, operate, and maintain our Infoblox platform supporting our DDI initiative at Verisign\nImplement and support monitoring pipelines for DDI platform health to support platform observability and availability\nAutomate DDI workflows for provisioning, cleanup and compliance enforcement\nTroubleshoot complex DNS/DHCP/IPAM incidents, participate in root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes\nCreate and maintain documentation and runbooks for our first-line support teams\nEnsure compliance with vulnerability management standards and information security standards\nParticipate in a 24x7 on call rotation for tier 3 support\nRequired Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience\n8+ years of relevant industry experience\nWritten and verbal communication skills - ability to clearly and succinctly describe complex issues\nExperience deploying and operating a DDI platform from industry leading vendors in a production environment\nExperience integrating multiple services with a DDI platform in a enterprise architecture\nStrong understanding of DNS protocols, DHCP lease management and IPAM (IPv4 and IPv6) hierarchy\nUnderstanding of CMDB and ITIL concepts\nUnderstanding of network protocols and security\nAbility to write scripts in either Python or Go that can interact with multiple platforms in an enterprise architecture\nDesired Skills, Experience, and Attributes:\nAn ideal candidate will have a blend of technical skills, a desire to work as part of a team to learn and grow themselves and those around them, and will have some of the following skills:\nExperience running an Infoblox platform in a production environment and integrating both custom and built-in services within an enterprise architecture\nExperience maintaining highly available services in both an on-prem and cloud-based production environment.\nServiceNow integration experience (API, workflows etc)\nUnderstanding and able to use with development tools such as Github, Jira\nUnderstanding of BGP and anycast\nExposure to Netbox\nExposure to Kubernetes\nFamiliarity with one more public and/or private cloud computing platforms\nFamiliarity with Network Discovery\nFamiliarity with ISC BIND and DHCP/kea\nKnow how to create and manage automation pipelines with tools such as JenkinsKnow how to manage capacity of public routable address space\nThis position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.\nThe pay range is $135,800 - $183,800.\nThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience.
