We offer a dynamic and flexible work environment with competitive benefits and the ability to grow your career.\nThe Engineer IV - Information Security, Tools and Engineering, is is a senior technical contributor responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance and continuous improvement of enterprise security tools and the underlying infrastructure platforms that support them.\nThis role serves as a technical leader within the Information Security organization, ensuring security technologies are highly available, securely configured, integrated with enterprise systems and aligned with organizational security objectives.\nResponsibilities:\nDeploy, configure, maintain and optimize enterprise security tools, including new tool features and tool integrations\nManage tool lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, patching, capacity planning and decommissioning\nPrimary technical owner for assigned security tools/platforms\nDevelop automation and an engineering first approach to reduce manual efforts\nPartner with security operations to ensure tools support operational workflows\nEstablish metrics, KPIs and maturity roadmaps for security tooling effectiveness\nEnsure tools are configured, proactively monitored and maintained according to security best practices\nParticipate in change management operations and other shared duties\nRequirements:\n4-year bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience required\n8+ years of experience in security technical experience\n5+ years of experience in network security\nExperience with deploying and maintaining enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, VM, Cloud Security and Security Orchestration and Automation tools\nStrong scripting and automation skills including Python and experience building automation workflows, integrations or tooling to support security operations\nExperience with Windows and Linux server administration\nThis position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.\nThe pay range is $135,800 - $183,800.\nThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience.
