We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help operate the Kubernetes-based infrastructure and automation that enable secure, reliable AI tooling for engineers. This is a hands-on platform operations role focused on dependable execution, automation, and continuous improvement.\nResponsibilities\nDeploy, configure, and support Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure in development, QA, and production environments.\nPerform routine platform maintenance and operational troubleshooting, following established change-management and security practices.\nSupport user onboarding, access provisioning, and access lifecycle activities for AI platform services.\nDevelop and maintain operational runbooks, configuration documentation, and deployment procedures.\nSupport CI/CD workflows and platform integrations used to deploy and operate AI-enabled engineering services.\nBuild and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration-management solutions using Ansible.\nAssist with monitoring, alert response, problem isolation, and resolution in collaboration with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.\nDocument operational work clearly and communicate progress, risks, and issues to the team.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field and at least\n2+ years of related experience\nExperience administering Linux systems and troubleshooting production infrastructure.\nWorking knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure automation; experience with Ansible is required.\nFamiliarity with source control, CI/CD concepts, and operational documentation practices.\nFoundational understanding of networking, access controls, and secure systems operations.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.\nDesired Skills and Experience\nExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, or Confluence.\nScripting experience with Python, Bash, or a similar language.\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools, incident response, or IT service-management platforms.\nExperience supporting cloud-native applications or platform services in a security- and reliability-focused environment.\nThis position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.\nThe pay range is $89,900 - $121,700.\nThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience.
