You'll play a key role in shaping engineering culture, developing people, and partnering across product and technology teams to build innovative products that make a real difference for our customers.\nJoin a global organization where you'll have the opportunity to influence technology strategy, empower engineers to do their best work, and help shape the future of intelligent risk solutions.\n Effectively lead a team of software developers/analysts in the requirements, design, development, test, and deployment of large distributed systems using microservices-based architecture.\nEngage and lead a globally distributed team, and provide hands-on management, mentoring, and coaching of resources and drive annual goals.\nPeople management duties, including hiring, firing, performance reviews, job requirements, interviewing candidates, staffing needs, assignments to team, review of work, growth opportunity for staff, in-person/remote supervision, etc.\nEffectively communicate software solution expectations to internal customers, team members and other stakeholders.\nPropose, design and implement scalable, sustainable and cost-effective solutions meeting internal and external customers’ objectives. \nEngage with senior management, peers and internal customers to plan and prioritize projects and resource allocation. \nProactively communicate statuses, issues and escalations to senior management and stakeholders.\nWork with external vendors to source, negotiate and manage contract resources and solution services.\n Solid software development experience, including experience leading engineering teams and delivering enterprise applications.\nStrong technical background in software architecture, application design, and cloud-native development.\nHands-on experience with modern technologies, including .NET/C#, JavaScript, Python, REST APIs, microservices, SQL Server, Snowflake, and search technologies (OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or Solr).\nExperience building and operating applications in AWS or other cloud environments.\nUnderstanding of AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, Generative AI, and AI-powered application development;
