Both projects are presently in active development by Agile based project teams in the UK and are presently supported by a part-time test engineer who works across both projects.\nThe Test Engineer role will be flexible, detail-oriented, and skilled at working with internal customers (Software and Product Team). The Tester will champion the quality of our data and products via automated and manual tests, quality assurance and regression testing, proactive reporting and verification of bugs and/or data errors and will play a critical role in delivering the DataX and GRiD product visions.\nQualifications:\nThe Test Engineer will:\nWork closely with the UK-based Technical Project Manager to create test strategies and plans that provide acceptable coverage for a given dataset or product\nAttend requirement gathering meetings with Product and Stakeholders to better understand business needs, functionality and system requirements\nWork in an Agile delivery methodology\nProvide regular and open communication across the program for transparency of progress and roadblocks\nTake ownership of test processes and implementing them\nCoordinate with the Technical Lead and UK Technical Project Manager to align tests with requested timelines\nProduce detailed testing documents, including test scripts to automate and rapidly perform testing iteratively\nAt least 3+ years of software QA testing experience\nExpertise on STLC , SDLC, Defect life cycle\nMust have strong knowledge and experience in Python programming language.\nAbility to design and develop the automation framework from scratch.\nStrong knowledge on Postman and Swagger tools.\nStrong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline.\nExperience in building frameworks using selenium, Requests and related libraries.\nExpertise in test management tools like Test rail/Browser Stack.\nExperience with version control systems like Git.\nExcellent and proven Troubleshooting skills\nExperience configuring, deploying and testing software updates\nAbility to identify issues and escalate as appropriate\nAbility to understand propagation of data through environments and components\nFamiliarity working with APIs providing structured data\nAbility to communicate technical matters effectively to a variety of Stakeholders\nFamiliarity working in an Agile environment and with Atlassian products, such as JIRA, confluence etc.\nFluency and clarity in spoken and written English, being able to concisely communicate technical ideas internally and to UK/US staff\nTesting is conducted with 20% being manual and 80% automation.\nExpertise Knowledge on Figma tool.\nNice to have\nProgramming experience in language such as Python, Django\nHands on experience on Docker\nSQL and database knowledge.\nGitHub / Copilot / Rovo etc. AI tools\nAny QA
