This position will provide hands-on automation support for manufacturing systems and equipment, including PLC/HMI programming, system integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProgram, configure, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley/Rockwell automation systems using Studio 5000\nDevelop and support HMI applications using FactoryTalk Optix\nProvide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for automated manufacturing equipment\nSupport commissioning, startup, testing, and qualification activities for new or modified equipment\nTroubleshoot PLC, HMI, controls, instrumentation, electrical, and network-related issues\nSupport integration of manufacturing equipment with site systems and ancillary equipment\nPerform source code review, updates, backups, and code management\nSupport SQL/database-related activities associated with automation and manufacturing systems\nAssist with industrial network configuration, troubleshooting, and basic network administration\nWork collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, vendors, and OEM personnel to resolve equipment and automation issues\nUpdate technical documentation, test cases, procedures, and troubleshooting guides\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing equipment and automation systems\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related technical discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered\n2+ years of automation/controls engineering experience\nHands-on experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs and Studio 5000\nExperience with FactoryTalk Optix\nWorking knowledge of SQL and databases\nExperience or working knowledge of network administration and industrial networking\nHands-on experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and external equipment vendors\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nPharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing experience is a plus but not required\nCandidates from consumer products, high-speed manufacturing, packaging, or similar automated manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply\nOnsite work required in Indianapolis, IN\n For US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below.
