The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wet chemistry, laboratory testing, experimental design, and data analysis within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related regulated environment.\nThis role will focus on evaluating drug-container interactions, supporting molecule characterization, and performing specialized laboratory measurements. Experience with pharmaceutical packaging materials, container closure systems, or packaging engineering is highly desirable.\nChemist Responsibilities:\nConduct laboratory studies evaluating drug-container interactions, with an emphasis on Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) surface adsorption.\n\nSupport analytical method development and testing activities related to Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT).\n\nPerform wet chemistry experiments, sample preparation, analytical testing, and laboratory investigations.\n\nConduct Interfacial Tension (IFT) measurements to evaluate material and formulation interactions.\n\nPerform Break Loose Glide Force (BLGF) testing to assess syringe and container system performance.\n\nSupport pharmaceutical molecule characterization and container closure compatibility studies.\n\nDevelop, execute, and document laboratory protocols, experiments, and technical reports.\n\nAnalyze, integrate, and interpret experimental data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support technical recommendations.\n\nPrepare and deliver clear technical presentations summarizing laboratory results and study findings.\n\nCollaborate with scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to support pharmaceutical development and packaging-related initiatives.\n\nMaintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.\n\n3-5 years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.\n\nStrong foundation in chemistry with demonstrated practical experience performing wet chemistry techniques and laboratory testing.\n\nExperience with analytical testing, experimental design, sample preparation, and laboratory instrumentation.\n\nAbility to independently execute laboratory experiments, troubleshoot testing challenges, and interpret results.\n\nStrong analytical skills, including data analysis, integration, interpretation, and technical documentation.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex scientific findings.\n\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple laboratory priorities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with pharmaceutical packaging, container closure systems, or packaging engineering.\n\nKnowledge of Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs), surface adsorption, or drug-container interactions.\n\nFamiliarity with Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) or related analytical method development.\n\nExperience performing Interfacial Tension (IFT) measurements.\n\nExperience with Break Loose Glide Force (BLGF) testing or syringe performance characterization.\n\nFamiliarity with pharmaceutical formulation development, material compatibility, or surface characterization.\n\nExperience working in a GMP or regulated pharmaceutical laboratory environment.\n\n For US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below.
