Oversee security, sharing, profiles, permission sets, and org-wide configuration\n\n Set the roadmap: Partner with business leaders to prioritize enhancements, build a Salesforce roadmap, and balance quick wins with long-term scalability\n\n Design solutions: Turn complex business requirements into well-designed solutions using custom objects, Flow, approval processes, validation rules, and Lightning pages. Know when a need calls for development or an AppExchange solution rather than configuration\n\nSupport the PSO lifecycle: Configure and optimize the full professional services lifecycle, from opportunity to project, resource request, assignment, timecard, approval, and invoice. This includes the timecard submission and approval process used by consultants and client-side approvers\n\nAdminister Certinia: Support Certinia PSA and related modules (projects, milestones, resource management, timecards, expenses, billing events). Keep them aligned with Finance and Resource Management processes\n\nGovern changes: Establish and enforce standards for change management, naming conventions, documentation, sandbox strategy, and release management\n\nGovern data: Lead data quality, deduplication, migrations, and integrity initiatives. Manage large-volume data operations with Data Loader or similar tools\n\nReport and analyze: Build executive-level reports and dashboards covering pipeline, utilization, bench, backlog, project margin, and billing\n\nManage integrations and vendors: Coordinate integrations (Microsoft 365, e-signature, ERP and finance systems) with IT and implementation partners. Evaluate and administer AppExchange packages\n\nMentor and train: Mentor junior administrators and power users. Lead user training and adoption efforts, and serve as the top escalation point for Salesforce support\n\nStay current: Assess Salesforce and Certinia releases, then recommend and roll out new features that add business value\nQualifications:\nRequired Skills:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent\n5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including ownership of a complex, multi-department organization\nAn active Salesforce certification (e.g., Platform Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder)\nExpert-level knowledge of Flow, security and sharing models, reports and dashboards, and data management tools\nProven experience leading requirements gathering, solution design, and releases from start to finish\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical leaders\nAbility to thoroughly document requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes\nEssential project management skills, including project planning and tracking principles; project risk and issues identification, assessment, tracking, and mitigation\nRequired Abilities:\nDemonstrated capability to deliver on the responsibilities listed above\nAbility to ramp-up quickly and be productive by understanding the existing ERP implementation and current business process around installed applications/modules\nAbility to adapt to change easily\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to take initiative to complete projects, tasks and assignments\nAbility to apply Verista values in your work situations\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with Certinia (formerly FinancialForce), especially PSA, resource management, timecards, and billing\nExperience supporting a professional services organization, such as a consulting, staffing, engineering services, or project-based business\nExperience with Tableau (including Tableau CRM / CRM Analytics), such as building dashboards and connecting Salesforce data for executive reporting\nExperience with AI integrations, such as Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein features, or connecting Salesforce to third-party AI tools and large language models to automate workflows and surface insights\nAdvanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Certinia certifications\nExposure to life sciences or other regulated industries\nFamiliarity with integrations (REST APIs, middleware) and working knowledge of Apex or LWC\nThis is a remote position.
