This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys partnering with a diverse workforce and influencing business leaders to drive positive people outcomes.\nAs the most senior HR presence in our Newcastle office, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both our Head Office functions including Operations, Customer Marketing, Finance, and Marketing and our frontline call centre teams. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping to deliver strategic people initiatives while ensuring excellent day-to-day HR support across the business.\nReporting to the HR Director UK & Ireland, you will lead a small HR team locally, providing guidance across HR operations, employee relations, and recruitment activities. You will also directly manage two junior HR Business Partners and partner closely with the Operations Director and Customer Marketing Director to deliver impactful people solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategic Business Partnering\nBuild strong, trusted relationships with leaders and managers across Head Office and contact centre functions.\nProvide commercially focused HR advice that supports business objectives and operational needs.\nPartner with stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and organisational success.\nDelivering People Plans:\nImplement and embed company-wide people initiatives across your business areas.\nSupport programmes focused on employee engagement, wellbeing, performance management, and leadership development.\nProvide insight and feedback on the effectiveness of HR initiatives to support continuous improvement\nDeveloping People Leaders\nCoach and support managers to build confidence and capability in people management.\nDeliver tailored guidance and training to both new and experienced managers.\nPromote proactive management practices and early intervention to address people challenges.\nEmployee Relations;\nLead and support a broad range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, and absence cases.\nWork closely with specialist HR teams to ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.\nSupport managers in achieving fair, consistent, and practical outcomes.\nTalent, Engagement & Retention:\nDrive initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and career development.\nContribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and internal mobility programmes.\nChampion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all supported business areas.\nData & Insights\nAnalyse key people metrics, including attrition, absence, and employee relations trends.\nUse data-driven insights to identify opportunities and support decision-making.\nProvide regular updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.\nAbout You\nWe're looking for a confident and adaptable HR professional who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nCIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience).\nProven experience in a senior HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role within a fast-paced environment.\nExperience supporting both professional services/head office functions and operational or frontline teams.\nStrong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practice.\nDemonstrated ability to influence, coach, and develop managers at all levels.\nComfortable balancing strategic priorities with operational HR responsibilities.\nPrevious people management experience.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience supporting contact centre, customer service, or frontline operational environments.\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a dynamic organisation.
