You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver.\nThe role will be based at our new, additional, technology site in Alicante, Spain. Backed by over 1,700 technologists worldwide based across our three key technology centres - our primary technology hub in Geneva (Switzerland), supported by Madrid (Spain), and Malmö (Sweden), and powered by one of Europe’s largest IoT platforms, we’re building something big, and we’re just getting started in Alicante.\nWe’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, adapts quickly when priorities shift, and enjoys solving challenges in fast-moving environments.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nAdvanced experience in test management using XRAY and JIRA, including test planning, execution tracking, and traceability with requirements.\n\nHands-on experience in testing RESTful services using tools such as RestAssured, ensuring API reliability, performance, and correctness.\n\nStrong experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.\n\nDesign and execution of functional test cases based on business requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring full coverage and validation of expected behavior.\n\nAbility to define, analyze, and report key quality metrics (KPIs) such as test coverage, defect density, defect leakage, and mean time to resolution, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.\n\nSolid experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), actively participating in ceremonies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.\n\nCandidate profile:\nTechnical Skills:\nMandatory requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience in software quality assurance or testing roles will also be considered.\n\nMinimum of 3 years of related experience.\n\nWill be a plus:\nPractical experience in front-end test automation, using frameworks such as WebdriverIO.\n\nBasic knowledge of performance and/or security testing, with awareness of non-functional validation approaches (not a primary requirement).\n\nISTQB certification or equivalent, demonstrating formal understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.\n\nSoft skills\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and quality expectations.\n\nProblem-solving mindset with a proactive and analytical approach, capable of identifying root causes, anticipating risks, and proposing effective solutions.\n\nExcellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.\n\nHigh attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, gaps, or ambiguities in requirements, test scenarios, and system behavior.\n\nIf you’re not sure you meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway - you might have a good fit for this role or another opportunity within our team.\nVerisure will offer you\nLunch included at our offices You won’t need to pay for your daily meal when you are at the office! :)\n\nDynamic and vibrant environment Our office is an open-plan space in which you will be able to interact with the best professional from different teams at all levels.\n\nInternational stakeholder projects\n\nPeriodic team buildings!
