Re-assign carriers for customer orders as needed.\nClose and dispatch all outbound trailers daily (nightly) prior to end of shift.\nGenerate orders and metric reports to warehouse workers; print and reprint labels, check inventory status, input data for shipping status, create shipping manifest, troubleshoot, and correct errors in wave batches.\nFollow mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.\nAdhere to the organization's Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to oneself and others in the workplace.\nMust meet ANSI Z75 standard.\n•Perform additional duties as required.\nAdditional Responsibilities & Qualifications:\nOur Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the transportation and distribution of products necessary to meet business needs while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.\nFamiliarity with a computerized warehouse system preferred.\nRate of Pay: $65,500 per year (salaried, non-exempt)\nWork Experience:\n•1-3 years of related job experience.•Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.•Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.•Strong planning and organization skills are required.•Warehouse experience required preferably working in a distribution environment.Education:\n•High School Diploma/GED PreferredWorking Conditions:\nThe work environment for this position requires:\nRegularly working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse where exposure to cold, heat, damp or humid conditions may occur.\nExposure to loud noise.\nExposure to dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, and moving vehicles.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical requirements listed below are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. \nAbility to lift, twist and carry up 50 - 75 pounds, manipulate (push and pull) up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment and skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds utilizing pallet jack.\nWalking/Standing - walk throughout the warehouse to complete customer orders. Stand when operating order picker or reach truck equipment and when operating cutter.\nSitting - sit only when driving sit-down material handling equipment. \nLifting - lift items weighing a few ounces up to 150 pounds with assistance .\nStooping - performed when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations.
