This role assists across departments with material handling, housekeeping, and machine support tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Job Responsibilities:\n•Assist Production Supervisors, Machine Operators, and Machine Assistants as needed to support daily operations.Handle raw materials and finished goods, including loading, unloading, stacking, and palletizing.\nSupport production by preparing work areas, cleaning equipment, and performing basic line setup.\nAssist with hand-stripping trim, bundling, and stacking corrugated sheets for next operations or shipment.\nPerform janitorial and housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies.\nMove scrap corrugated material to designated areas and assist with baling operations.\nMaintain organized and safe workspaces in compliance with all company and safety standards.\nComplete basic documentation related to inventory, safety, or production activities.\n•Cross-train with team members and demonstrate initiative to learn the next step in the line of progression.\nAdditional Responsibilities & Qualifications:\nAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.\nBasic understanding of manufacturing or warehouse operations.\nFollow all applicable Safe Operating Procedures and Safety rules.\nForklift certification preferred but not required.\nWork Experience:\n•0-1 years of related job experience.•Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.•Ability to work in a team environment.•Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.•Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.Education:\n•High School Diploma/GED PreferredWorking Conditions:\nThe work environment for this position requires:\nRegularly working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse where exposure to cold, heat, damp or humid conditions may occur.\nExposure to loud noise.\nExposure to dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, and moving vehicles.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical requirements listed below are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. \nAbility to lift, twist and carry up 50 - 75 pounds, manipulate (push and pull) up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment and skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds utilizing pallet jack.\nWalking/Standing - walk throughout the warehouse to complete customer orders. Stand when operating order picker or reach truck equipment and when operating cutter.\nSitting - sit only when driving sit-down material handling equipment. \nLifting - lift items weighing a few ounces up to 150 pounds with assistance .\nStooping - performed when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations.
