Join the #VTeamLife.\nWhat you’ll be doing...\nThis position is a part of the Contract Management Team a subset of Sales Ops & Enablement Team supporting the Verizon Enhanced Communities organization. You will have primary responsibilities including Legal/Business Term Review, Business Development Manager (BDM)/Sales Support, Template generation, Life Cycle Contract Management and Customer Service and as well as various special projects. You will also manage the daily operations of contract management where you are responsible for entering all required data elements to keep the agreements in play. You will also focus on the customer service aspect where you are resolving payment issues and tracking down commissions for them.\nResponsibilities include:\nDrafting, reviewing and revising Marketing, Bulk and other VEC Agreements that are negotiated by BDMs to ensure that redlines proposed by multi-family dwelling property owners and their representatives are acceptable to Verizon and finalizing these agreements which protect Verizon’s marketing, business and financial interests and increase revenue for the company.\nWorking directly with both internal stakeholders and external contacts (property representatives and attorneys) to assist BDMs with negotiations.\nPreparing amendments to existing agreements as needed.\nDrafting all notices including notices of default, price increases, etc.\nWorking in close collaboration and coordination with in-house counsel to finalize all agreements, amendments and legal documents before execution.\nTimely responding and tracking all requests, and providing reports to the leadership team.\nGenerally supporting BDMs in all aspects of agreement negotiations and execution processes including but not limited to: Documenting procedures, Training new BDMs, Conducting ongoing training for all Sales personnel.\nReview and evaluate agreement templates to identify areas for improvement in both process and document templates including modifying templates for broader use to increase efficiencies without increasing company risk in order to reduce time spent negotiating agreements.\nE2E life cycle management of post contract execution issues including but not limited to entries and research in the following databases: Contract Administration Tool (CAT), Accounts & Commissions Administration tool (vECAP), Finance portal for Vendor ID Requests.\nProactive monitoring for accuracy and accountability for agreement integrity.\nMaintain working relationships with other support groups (within and outside of VEC) to ensure they have an understanding and are able to support the BDM process as their roles require (e.g. legal, risk management, engineering, accounts payable, vendor management, etc.).\nTroubleshoot and resolve problems/issues regarding executed agreements and property owner’s/staff’s execution of terms and agreements.\nAssisting with and interpreting terms of the agreement for Sales, Bulk Ops and Account Management teams, etc.\nBuild and utilize AI for template and redlining agreements\nResolve billing and commission payment issues.\nTroubleshoot and resolve problems/issues regarding Bulk billing and Marketing commissions payments.\nProvide training and support for vECAP use for property owners/staff.\nParticipate in cross functional team initiatives such as Bulk M&Ps and Premises Access License procedures.\nParticipate in the implementation of contract automation initiatives.\nIdentify and explore process changes to reduce overlap of work among resources.\nAssist with Requests for Proposal (RFP) review.\nThis hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.\nWhat we’re looking for...\nYou’ll need to have:\nBachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.\nEight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.\nExperience in Sales support and Customer service experience.\nExperience drafting legal documents and agreements.\nExperience in project management.\nExperience in using Microsoft Excel and Word (specifically the “Tracking” or “Redlining” functions of MS Word) \nEven better if you have one or more of the following:\nJuris Doctor or Certified Paralegal.\nExperience with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance.\nAbility to manage a large number of simultaneous tasks and keep on schedule.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.\nIf Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.\nWhere you’ll be working\nIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager.
