Join the #VTeamLife.\nWhat you’ll be doing…\nAs the Associate Director of Learning Experience Delivery, you will serve as a strategic people leader responsible for driving innovative learning execution, operational excellence, and delivery transformations across the enterprise. You will lead a high-performing team of delivery leaders, trainers, and specialists who orchestrate modern learning solutions, implementing cross-functional \"Universal Trainer\" models to build an agile, future-ready workforce. You are responsible for scaling delivery capabilities, optimizing trainer utilization, and championing the integration of AI-assisted, multi-modal learning experiences across diverse channels. By leading delivery transformation, establishing robust quality assurance frameworks, and fostering cross-functional alignment, you will ensure seamless onboarding, rapid upskilling, and maximum operational throughput for frontline and global teams.\nAdditional responsibilities include:\nArchitecting and executing cross-functional \"Universal Trainer\" strategies that unify delivery across Consumer, Business, GNT, and specialized channels, increasing trainer utilization and driving agility during peak demand.\nProviding direct leadership, coaching, and mentorship to delivery leaders and trainers, empowering them to transition from traditional instruction toward high-touch performance coaching and AI-tool orchestration.\nManaging daily training operations, resource allocation, and workforce scheduling across internal and external partner ecosystems to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and at peak throughput.\nChampioning the integration of agentic AI platforms, synthetic role-play simulations, and adaptive learning engines, maintaining human instructional excellence and effective \"human-in-the-loop\" validation.\nOverseeing evaluation frameworks, classroom audits, and Train-the-Trainer (T3) certifications to drive compliance, brand alignment, and consistent learning quality across all delivery modalities.\nActing as the primary L&D delivery partner to senior business leaders, aligning training strategies with operational objectives and participating in \"Super Teaming\" with design and operations functions.\nDirecting delivery governance, trainer certifications, and quality standards across strategic external vendor/BPO partner networks to ensure contractual compliance and operational alignment.\nIn this remote role, you'll work from home with occasional in-person trainings and meetings.\nWhat we’re looking for…\nYou’ll need to have:\nBachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.\nEight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.\nExperience managing/and or leading learning delivery teams. \nExperience with varied facilitation modalities. \nCurrent HR and/or Learning & Development experience. \nWillingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.\nEven better if you have one or more of the following:\nA degree. \nLeadership experience managing large-scale learning delivery teams, trainer networks, and multi-channel operations.\nExperience in consultative engagement or Learning leadership. \nExperience scaling innovative learning technology, including agentic AI tools, adaptive platforms, and automated delivery workflows.\nA strong vision for scaling enterprise-wide operations and transitioning human teams toward agent-assisted learning experiences.\nExperience applying process design principles (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to reduce process waste and drive process throughput. \nExceptional strategic communication skills with a track record of influencing stakeholders through data-driven storytelling.\nDemonstrated expertise in cross-functional delivery models (such as the Universal Trainer framework) and modern facilitation modalities (virtual, hybrid, ILT).\nExpertise in change management methodologies, with demonstrated success in guiding organizations through significant shifts in operational or digital models.\nIf Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.\nWhere you’ll be working\nIn this remote role, you'll work from home with occasional in-person trainings and meetings.Scheduled Weekly Hours\n40Equal Employment Opportunity \nVerizon is an equal opportunity employer.
