Join the #VTeamLife.\nWhat you’ll be doing...\nAs Engineer 1, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in the Anti-spam Engineering team within the CNOE organization.\nThe Engineering team is responsible for management of the Antispam platform and support Security and fraud prevention team in investigation of spam and fraudulent activities. Responsibilities also include automating the application lifecycle and effectiveness within N&T. This includes developing a thorough understanding of application functionality, creating automation for capacity management, performance monitoring, Anti-Spam blocking via AI tools/Automation, and product enhancements. You will also collaborate with Operations, vendors, and network personnel to resolve issues.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDeveloping and maintain capacity demand models.\nAutomating and generate application performance generative reports/models.\nCollecting, analyze, and automate performance usage and investigate Spam data to identify trends and patterns.\nCoordinating engineering and implementation activities for growth and expansion.\nEvaluating/automate Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation from vendors to ensure operational efficiencies/automation.\nGaining comprehensive insight into network assets and their future development by automating systems to rapidly assess vulnerability impact and identify hardware/software reaching End-of-Life or End-of-Support.\nReporting capacity metrics to facilitate platform growth and support.\nGenerating timely and accurate reports for strategic management decision-making and to highlight critical issues.\nWhat we're looking for...\nYou'll need to have...\nBachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.\nExpertise in designing and constructing complex, scalable web applications and services, coupled with a strong grasp of software architecture principles, design patterns, and Microservices, basic network principles, basic Unix principles. •Expertise in Data Analytics using Splunk and/or Google suites, Elastic/Opensearch.\nEven better if you have one or more of the following...\n1 or more years experience in distributed systems, virtualization, and containerization (e.g. OpenShift, Openstack or Kubernetes).\n1 or more years experience with GIT/Source code management.\nProficiency in any of the software programming languages such as Ansible, Python, Bash scripting, Java script, React, Postgres, SQL, HTML , CSS, GIT, Gitlab, CI/CD.
