Your opinion matters - we have a continuous improvement mindset and we welcome team members to bring new skills and ideas!\nPerforming accounting tasks and project assignments utilizing a combination of systems/IT and accounting skills.\nLeading all aspects of the completion of complex analytical assignments and preparation of accounting related reports.\nSupporting leadership with analyzing, and reporting on general ledger transactions, and other accounting related projects.\nCoordinating with the other finance teams to ensure complete and accurate accruals and simplify processes.\nLeading the company’s efforts to comply with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley while ensuring compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.\nProviding subject matter expertise on the application of accounting principles.\nReviewing the work of others and analyzing the output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness and accuracy.\nLeading reviews for accuracy of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounting classifications assigned to various records.\nLeading accounting projects to ensure compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.\nDirecting efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures and policies for the group.\nWhat we’re looking for...\nYou’re organized, practical, and great at finding ways to simplify complex processes. You have solid accounting knowledge across a variety of topics and the ability to self-direct, run projects and meet deliverables. Providing mentorship and direction to others in an upbeat, positive manner comes naturally to you. Working independently is as comfortable for you as being part of a team.\nYou'll need to have:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field or four or more years of work experience.\nSix or more years of relevant work experience.\nExperience in the preparation of general ledger postings and account reconciliations.\nKnowledge of FASB and SEC requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, accounting best practices, and cross functional accounting impacts.\nExperience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management\nExperience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.\nKnowledge of accounting systems and applications including SAP, CPM/Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, Blackline or related systems and applications.\nEven better if you have one or more of the following:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting.\nMaster's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.\nCPA certification.\nBasic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.\nWhere you’ll be working\nIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager.
