Join the #VTeamLife.\nWhat you’ll be doing...\nAs an Engineer II, you will join a dynamic team responsible for managing the MTU/MDU build of new in Houston TX. The role focuses on managing and driving vendors to complete projects and auditing their work enroute to opening the sites for sale to new customers. You will also be responsible for interacting with property owners, conducting site surveys, and developing creative solutions to allow for a broader build pipeline. Your day to day tasks include, but are not limited to:\nManaging construction activities across multiple properties simultaneously.\nConducting site surveys (feasibility studies).\nInterfacing with vendors and property owners via virtual and face-to-face meetings.\nAssisting vendors with troubleshooting during build activities.\nConducting quality audits (in person live & post install). \nEscalating issues to management with recommendations included.\nFinancial management of assigned projects.\nWhat we’re looking for...\nYou are well versed in telecommunications and thrive under tight deadlines. You are a team player and can work collaboratively across teams to achieve organizational and program goals.\nYou'll need to have:\nBachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.\nWireless network in-building construction experience.\nDemonstrated success in managing vendors, contracts, and fiscal targets.\nValid driver's license.\nWillingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.\nEven better if you have one or more of the following:\nExcellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, oral/written communications skills, and organizational skills.\nFUZE SPM, ESA, Minerva, PO Module, and FIM Lite PO expertise\nGoogle Suite experience.\nAttention to detail, sense of urgency.\nAbility to be innovative and develop solutions to challenges using critical thinking capabilities.\nTechnical aptitude with computers to navigate tools.\nIf Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.\nWhere you’ll be working\nIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager.
