Applying hands-on technical expertise, you will be implementing next-generation customer success, sales, and digital agent solutions that directly impact how millions of customers interact with Verizon. Working as part of a high-performing squad, you will turn architectural designs into production-grade code while ensuring reliability, performance, and scale.\nResponsibilities include:\nDeveloping, testing, and scaling agentic AI/ML solutions, specialized workflows, and LLM-powered systems for Verizon Consumer Group platforms.\nIntegrating AI agent frameworks with existing customer success, digital, and retail channel technologies.\nCollaborating with product managers and engineering teams to implement and iterate on production-grade technical roadmaps.\nParticipating in engineering code reviews, technical design sessions, and red-teaming exercises to ensure safe and reliable model behaviors.\nOptimizing model inference pipelines, API endpoints, and data integration layers to meet high-performance consumer demands.\nAssisting in technical research and rapid prototyping to quickly evaluate and implement emerging open-source and proprietary AI frameworks.\nContributing to the documentation of technical specifications and creating materials to showcase pilot performance results.\nWhat we’re looking for...\nYou thrive on working with complex data and translating it into scalable solutions. Detail-oriented and driven by high-impact outcomes, you prioritize data quality, model precision, and rigorous evaluation. You are a self-driven engineer who can architect pipelines and deploy models independently under tight timelines, always focused on leveraging AI to directly enhance customer experiences .\nYou will need to have:\nBachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.\nSix or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.\nOne or more years of hands-on experience building, tuning, or integrating AI/ML models and LLM applications.\nExperience within Agile software development methodologies.\nEven better if you have one or more of the following:\nA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.\nExperience developing end-to-end AI agents and RAG architectures using orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Google ADK).\nHands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, API design, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nFamiliarity with enterprise AI integrations and performance management platforms (e.g., Verint).\nStrong prioritization skills with a track record of managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.\nIf Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.\nWhere you’ll be working\nIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager.
