Join the #VTeamLife.\nWhat you’ll be doing...\nCollaborate with internal & external stakeholders to develop and drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and accuracy of the collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment processes within assigned National Retail partner Walmart. In this role, you will drive the “end to end” forecasting and replenishment process; ensuring internal controls are in place to develop and deliver forecasted products through our fulfillment centers and forward logistics to meet retailer designated SLA requirements.\nSchedule and participate in synchronization meetings with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain Management and assigned retail partners to track variance between the company's sales forecast and retail partner's forecast to drive CPFR efficiency.\nResponsibilities:\nDeveloping and maintaining performance-based store tiering/segmentation, as well as allocation and disposition processes.\nCollaborating with a third party fulfillment center for inventory availability and liaison between fulfillment center and retailer to ensure compliance for on time order shipment.\nCreating strategies and tracking KPI performance to drive continuous improvement against JBP objectives (e.g. forecast accuracy, hit rate, days on hand, IS/OSA, OTIF)\nDesigning, maintaining, and automating KPI dashboards by leveraging internal systems retailer portals.\nDriving analysis of sales, financial and operational performance data (e.g., modeling, predictive analytics) to identify key insights and opportunities to improve forecast accuracy.\nCollaborating to build the sales and shipment forecast. \nAligning forecast assumptions in support of special events (e.g. new product launches, MOD transitions, marquee events)\nManaging gaps between customer POs and retail forecasts.\nWhat we’re looking for...\nYou are a problem solver--someone who looks to find ways to be more efficient in every corner and who sees every obstacle as a puzzle to be solved. Not only are you a Grade A planner and organizer, but you know how to engage a diverse team, set clear standards, remove barriers, and ensure accountability. You’re no stranger to tight timelines and competing priorities. And you’re a superb communicator, able to interpret data in a relevant way, translate complex technical specifications into concrete requirements, and encourage and equip everyone around you to make sound decisions and do their best work.\nYou’ll need to have:\nBachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.\nThree or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.\nExperience in operations, demand planning, replenishment, outbound supply chain, and/or a relevant analytics role.\nForecasting experience using a variety of methods to advise future-state planning.\nWillingness to travel approximately up to 25%.\nEven better if you have one or more of the following:\nTeam-oriented and strong interpersonal capabilities; ability to build relationships (internal/external) and interact effectively with other departments and levels of business affecting the forecast process.\nExcellent analytical skills and ability to multitask.\nProcess-oriented and ability to contribute to continuous improvement.\nExperience with aggregating and summarizing large amounts of historical data and identifying trends or business opportunities.\nSQL Expertise.\nAdvanced knowledge of Power BI and Query.\nMastery of MS Excel required - VBA preferred.\nKnowledge of data warehousing.\nRetail, E-com, or startup experience.\nStatistical modeling (Linear Regression/K-means).\nStrong leadership skills and outgoing personality.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nIf Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.\nWhere you’ll be working\nIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager.
