Our focus is on the Business customer and their experience across our digital and assisted sales and service journeys.\nResponsibilities will include:\nMove confidently from problem framing and concept development through delivery, bringing a strong eye for design, attention to detail, and the ability to create polished, intuitive experiences that feel simple, elegant, and easy to use\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams-including product managers, engineers, and researchers-to understand user needs and business goals, and translate them into effective design solutions.\nCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard design tools, AI tools (Figma Make, Gemini, Claude, NotebookLM), and generative workflows. \nInfluence decisions through data, customer insights, product thinking, experimentation, and strong design rationale\nAbility to own the quality bar for AI-assisted design work, ensuring high standards for craft and usability are maintained.\nCraft and polish compelling narratives that highlight product opportunities and requirements.\nDeliver seamless experience enhancements and optimize touch points across the customer lifecycle.\nCultivate a robust design culture through active leadership in critiques and design workshops.\nWhat we’re looking for...\nYou'll need to have:\nBachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.\nFour or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.\nFour or more years of design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered product thinking, polished visual craft, and thoughtful interaction design for complex ecosystems.\nExperience presenting and justifying design decisions to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.\nDemonstrated experience producing high-fidelity design deliverables that adhere to visual design principles and design system specifications.\nExperience independently driving design processes from discovery through launch, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.\nExperience guiding decision-making with structured thinking, clearly articulated rationale, and user-centered research.\nExperience experimentation, metrics, or using data to inform design decisions.\nDemonstrated experience designing shopping and commerce flows.\nEven better if you have one or more of the following:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design.\nExperience designing for growth, monetization, digital transformation, or omni-channel experiences.\nDesigning for B2B.\nPortfolio is all professional work.\nStrong communication and storytelling skills.\nGreat attention to detail and a strong eye for visual craft.\nIf Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.\nWhere you’ll be working\nIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager.
