This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role at the intersection of business strategy, sales processes and tooling - ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, understands how sales organizations operate, and wants to build durable systems foundations at a high-growth company. This role will report into our Senior Director of Sales Strategy & Operations.\nWe are committed to a thriving in-office culture. Occasional travel will take you to our other offices and company events.\nWhat You'll Do\nPartner with leaders across a variety of functions - Sales, Marketing, Channel, and GTM Operations - to identify and address key business challenges, with a primary focus on GTM systems, data pipelines, and sales efficiency.\nConduct usability studies with stakeholders e.g. Sales reps using Salesforce and identity key pain points and system solutions\nHelp fine-tune the product roadmap for core GTM tools including Salesforce, other internal platforms, ensuring they scale with Verkada's rapid growth.\nImplement best-practice solutions - including process changes, system configurations, and custom enhancements - to drive sales velocity, pipeline visibility, and operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with GTM engineers and business stakeholders to design, build, and deliver engineering solutions aligned to GTM deliverables and OKRs.\nFacilitate and lead cross-functional requirements sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business needs; identify unstated or conflicting requirements; and drive meaningful change even when it means challenging the status quo.\nPrepare and maintain documentation for current processes, pain points, and system assumptions - and continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows across GTM tools and platforms.\nDraw on your experience to recommend improvements to development practices, system standards, and integration patterns that improve team velocity and long-term scalability.\nBuild lightweight technical solutions and automations leveraging Apex, Python and/or JavaScript to bridge gaps between systems.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor's degree in Math, CS, Business, or another technical/analytical field.\n3-5 years of relevant experience in business systems, revenue operations, or GTM product management.\nHands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud required) and familiarity with adjacent GTM tools such as Outreach, Marketo, ZoomInfo, Clari, or similar.\nAn understanding of basic Agile Development best practices and project management skills.\nWorking knowledge of SQL; basic proficiency in Python or JavaScript for lightweight scripting and integrations.\nExperience designing and supporting integrations between GTM systems (e.g., Salesforce ↔ Outreach)\nStrong understanding of the end-to-end sales lifecycle: lead-to-opportunity, channel sales, and renewal/expansion motions.\nFamiliarity with UI/UX tools and process-mapping tools (e.g., Figma, Lucidchart).\nStrong work ethic - you do what it takes to make a project go well and are equally comfortable taking personal ownership.\nComfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\nStrong business acumen - comfortable speaking with sales executives and presenting new features externally.\nMust be willing and able to commute 5 days/week in office (San Mateo, CA).\nUS Employee Benefits\nVerkada is committed to fostering a workplace environment that prioritizes the holistic health and wellbeing of our employees and their families by offering comprehensive wellness perks, benefits, and resources.
