The Senior UX Designer translates complex transactional consumer flows into intuitive user experiences and is proficient is designing for responsive web and native iOS applications.\nResponsibilities\nCreate high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, user flows, information architecture, UI designs, and UX documentation.\nIterate design based on feedback and in collaboration with internal team and external stakeholders.\nDesign consumer-facing experiences, publishing tools, and call center support tools across responsive web (desktop and mobile), native iOS applications and native Mac applications leveraging established design systems and patterns while identifying opportunities for thoughtful improvements. \nContribute to projects by understanding business goals, platform requirements, established patterns, and project constraints.\nDevelop design solutions considering engineering constraints, accessibility, localization, platform consistency, project requirements, and timelines.\nTailor presentation to different audiences to explain design rational behind proposed solutions. \nCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, project managers, and other design team members throughout the project lifecycle, following direction from Design leadership.\nThe platform is in 40 countries so the designer will need to develop experiences relevant to specific countries around the world.\nAll designs need to be done to the highest standards of design for usability and accessibility. \nQualifications\n5+ years of UX or product design experience with eCommerce and transactional experience preferred, either consumer-facing or internal tooling.\nExperience designing for both web (desktop and mobile) and native iOS applications.\nDeep understanding and practice of design process (discovery, design, delivery, testing).\nExpertise creating user flows, IAs, high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes and UX documentation.\nExpertise working with enterprise-level design systems and reusable components.\nExperience with Sketch and Figma.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain design rationale clearly to the project team.\nExcellent attention to detail with ability to identify and communicate risks, dependencies, blockers, and recommendations to the project team.\nAgency experience, or experience working within an “agency within an enterprise,” is a plus.\nTen Great Reasons to Work at Verndale\nWe are a rapidly growing company that is just as scrappy and entrepreneurial today as when we were founded in 1998.\nWe are relentlessly curious and enthusiastically solve our clients’ complex business problems through technology, data, and design.\nWe foster a culture that enables every person in the organization to do the best work of their career.\nWe offer regular training and professional development to move careers forward.\nClient and employee satisfaction are our two most important business metrics.\nWe celebrate and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.\nWe offer generous paid company holidays, vacation, and paid sick time to every employee starting on day one.\nWe offer top-of-the-line Health Insurance, plus monthly perks customized to meet individual employees’ needs. \nWe support a healthy work/life balance.\nWe are fully remote enabled and embrace the evolving definition of the workplace\nCompensation & Benefits\nIn accordance with applicable law, the salary range provided is Verndale's reasonable estimate of the salary for this role.
