With employee relations forming the core focus of the role, we're looking for someone who can quickly establish themselves as a trusted advisor and make an immediate impact.\nThe role is heavily focused on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases, while also supporting key HR processes, documentation, policy development and projects. We are looking for a confident HR professional who can quickly build credibility with managers and provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice across the business.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEmployee Relations\nManage disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, conduct and absence cases.\nLead investigations, gather evidence, conduct interviews and prepare case documentation.\nSupport managers through formal hearings and employee meetings.\nProvide practical, commercially focused advice on employment law, policies and HR best practice.\nHandle complex and sensitive employee relations matters with confidence and professionalism.\nTravel to sites across the UK to support investigations and operational HR matters.\nGeneralist HR\nPrepare employment contracts, contract amendments and promotion documentation.\nSupport the review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.\nMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.\nAssist with HR projects and process improvement initiatives.\nProvide guidance and support to colleagues across the wider HR function.\nThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:\nCIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience.\nConfident advising operational managers at all levels and making sound, commercially focused decisions that balance business needs with employee wellbeing.\nStrong hands-on employee relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently.\nPrevious experience within a multi-site operational environment.\nExcellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.\nStrong communication, investigation and report-writing skills.\nA practical, organised and solutions-focused approach.\nExperience within food & beverage, hospitality, retail or FMCG environments would be highly advantageous.\nThis is a fully office-based role in Wolverhampton, working five days per week.
