{"id":2697041,"url":"https://alion.io/job/vero-hr-mrp-controller-purchasing-administration","title":"MRP Controller, Purchasing & Administration","company":{"id":686419,"name":"Vero HR","domain":"verohr.co.uk","url":"https://alion.io/company/verohr","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":true,"employer_type":"agency","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workable","truth_index":{"grade":"B","score":83,"open_postings":3,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0.667,"repost_share":0,"time_to_fill_p50_days":53,"computed_at":"2026-10-20T05:45:00Z"}},"role":"Finance","role_family":"Finance","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["United Kingdom"],"countries":["GB"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":28000,"max":34000,"currency":"GBP","period":"year","gross":null,"usd_annual":45072},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-16T10:24:53Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-16","last_verified_at":"2026-10-20T15:42:18Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":4,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":4},"description":"About the opportunity:\nWe are looking for a proactive and highly organised MRP Controller, Purchasing & Administration Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing business specialising in regulated, high-quality products.\nThis is a varied and hands-on role where you will take ownership of the company's MRP business System (MRPeasy), overseeing stock control, purchasing, order processing and administration activities that keep the business running efficiently.\nWorking closely with Production, Finance, Suppliers and the wider team, you will play a key role in ensuring materials are available when needed, stock records remain accurate, customer orders are processed effectively, and operational processes continue to improve as the business grows.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised, and wants to make a genuine impact within a collaborative and ambitious\nKey Responsibilities\nTake ownership of the company's MRPeasy system and maintain accurate stock, purchasing and supplier data.\nMonitor stock levels and material requirements to support production demands.\nManage stock movements, investigate discrepancies and assist with regular stock counts.\nCreate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure system accuracy.\nRaise and process purchase orders for materials, components and business supplies.\nLiaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times and deliveries.\nMonitor outstanding orders and resolve supply issues where required.\nProcess customer orders and support accurate, on-time fulfilment.\nCoordinate deliveries and prepare despatch and shipping documentation.\nMaintain accurate records relating to purchasing, stock control and customer orders.\nProvide general administrative support to the Managing Director and wider team.\nAssist with invoice matching, reporting and day-to-day operational administration.\nSupport compliance with the company's ISO 13485:2016 quality management system.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across stock control, purchasing and business processes.\nWho we are looking for:\nExperience in stock control, inventory management, purchasing, order processing or a similar operational role.\nPrevious experience using an MRP or ERP system.\nStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\nConfident working with spreadsheets, business systems and data management.\nA proactive and hands-on approach with the ability to identify and solve problems.\nStrong communication skills and the confidence to work with suppliers, customers and colleagues at all levels.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nSomeone who is switched on, eager to learn and able to pick up new systems and processes quickly.\nExperience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.\nKnowledge of purchasing, logistics, supplier management or stock planning would be highly desirable.\nFamiliarity with ISO 13485 or other quality management systems would be beneficial\nWhy you will love working here:\nSalary of £28,000 -
