This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional to take ownership of a customer-facing outlet, drive sales growth and develop a small team.\nThe outlet sells refurbished and graded appliances to both trade customers and the public.\nYou will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the outlet, overseeing sales performance, stock management, customer service and profitability. This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, developing new business opportunities and taking ownership of a store’s commercial performance.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and develop a small team, driving sales targets, KPIs and margins.\nBuild relationships with trade customers and the public to generate new business.\nManage the outlet’s P&L, budgets, pricing and operating costs.\nOversee stock control, weekly stock counts, annual stock takes and SAP sales order processing.\nCoordinate weekly appliance deliveries, ensuring stock is checked, stored safely and organised efficiently.\nSupport customers with product demonstrations, sales enquiries and loading appliances.\nDeliver local marketing and promotional activities to increase awareness and sales.\nMaintain legal compliance, accurate records and health and safety standards.\nThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:\nExperience in retail management or a similar customer-facing sales environment.\nA commercial mindset, with experience managing sales targets, KPIs and profitability.\nStrong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.\nExcellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build trade and retail relationships.\nA proactive approach to sales, marketing and identifying growth opportunities.\nGood IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel;
