This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced inspection professional to play a key role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and integrity of aerospace products supplied to customers worldwide.\nReporting to the Supplier Quality Manager, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials and outgoing products, maintaining quality standards, supporting compliance activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business.\nWorking within a highly regulated aerospace environment, you will utilise a range of inspection techniques and quality processes to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to quality excellence while developing your expertise within a growing international organisation. \nResponsibilities:\nPerform dimensional, visual and documentation inspections on incoming materials and outgoing products.\nIdentify parts requiring sample inspection based on product criticality, customer feedback and non-conformance trends.\nCreate and maintain product inspection checklists and quality records.\nAccurately document inspection results, reports and product dispositions.\nCreate, manage and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.\nSupport calibration activities, including coordinating external calibration visits and conducting internal calibration tasks.\nAssist with investigations into customer returns and root cause analysis activities.\nRaise and manage quality concerns, non-conformances and supplier returns, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.\nMonitor and manage shelf-life controlled inventory.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.\nThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:\nPrevious experience within a Quality Inspection role, ideally within aerospace, aviation, manufacturing or engineering environments.\nStrong understanding of quality management processes and aerospace quality requirements.\nKnowledge of AS9102 and ISO 2859-1 would be advantageous.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and related documentation.\nExperience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers and gauges.\nEngineering apprenticeship or technical engineering background would be highly beneficial.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.\nGood organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nComputer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.\nIn return we are offering:\nBasic Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience\nOpportunity to join a growing global aerospace organisation.\nOngoing training and professional development opportunities.\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas closure, increasing with service.\nPrivate medical insurance.\nEnhanced pension contribution.\nCompany bonus scheme.\nLife assurance.\nInterested?
