Do you thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment where attention to detail is everything?\nWe’re on a mission to deliver excellence and we need a dedicated Mechanical Inspector to help us ensure our products meet the highest standards.\nResponsibilities:\n Verifying the conformity of aerospace parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings and customer requirements\nCompleting detailed and traceable inspection records\nSupporting production teams with batch verifications and first-off inspections\nCompiling First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)\nPerforming inspections throughout the manufacturing and supply chain process\nReporting and escalating non-conformances, and supporting root cause investigations\nActively participating in Continuous Improvement and New Product Introduction meetings\nRequirements\nThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:\n Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications\n Solid experience in inspecting precision components\n Familiarity with inspection tools, CMM equipment, and industry measurement techniques\n Experience in aerospace or pharmaceutical environments preferred\n Strong communication and organisational skills\n Confidence to challenge and escalate quality issues\n HND or equivalent qualification, with a good grasp of imperial and metric systems would be desirable. \n Benefits\nIn return we are offering:\nA competitive basic salary plus an enhanced shift premium. \n39 hours worked over 4 days Monday to Thursday (5:00 pm - 3:15 am), additional shift premium paid at time and one-third for hours worked between 6:00 pm and 3:15 am.\n23 days holiday pro rata increasing to 26 days after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays. \nLife assurance scheme.\nAuto enrolment pension scheme.\nEmployee Assistance Programme.\nEmployee Referral Scheme.\nEmployee Recognition Scheme.\nLong Service Awards.\nThis role is based within the ULEZ zone.
