This role is based in our Madison Ave location.\nResponsibilities:\nSALES LEADERSHIP:\nAssumes Manager’s role in supervising staff and creating an outstanding sales and customer service environment in absence of General Manager \nStrives for sales excellence and results maximizing sales through strong floor supervision \nAssists with setting weekly, monthly and seasonal goals for staff\nWorks with customers and models excellent customer service and Clienteling skills.\nDevelops Sales Associates to be experts in the selling steps and client building through utilizing the Sales Training Programs and the Client Books\nASSOCIATE DEVELOPMENT:\nEnsure associates are trained on product knowledge, selling skills, customer service and operations to support the brand experience \nCoaches team members on performance and shares feedback with General Manager creating alignment and consistency\nTeam sells with Sales Associates to contribute to the development of the selling team\nCreates enthusiasm and excitement within store to motivate high performance teams\nOPERATIONS EXCELLENCE:\nProtects store payroll by assisting General Manager with hiring process and creating store schedules that protect the business on allowable payroll hours \nControls company’s assets, i.e. key control, loss prevention measures, inventory paperwork and company standards of conduct \nStrives for 100% accuracy and compliance in cash, inventory, fixtures and property\nSTORE STANDARDS:\nHelps execute floor-set and promotional directives in partnership with General Manager and/or Product DOR \nSupervises the overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and backroom ensuring store appearance and atmosphere supports and reinforces the brand image\nUnderstands, supports and complies with all company policies and procedures\nHelps control all company assets (i.e., payroll hours, fixtures, cash, inventory and property) and completes all paperwork promptly and accurately\nMERCHANDISING/VISUAL:\nEnsure execution of effective merchandising strategies and directives \nEnsure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized and reflects the correct visual image at all times \nEnsure presentation of all displays, fixtures and all visual areas are reflective of current visual direction \nIdentify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner \nCommunicate inventory needs to support the business goals\nFASHION SAVVY:\nRepresents the fashion and style of Veronica Beard \nKnowledge of current fashion trends and styles \nAppreciation and demonstration of an overall finished fashion look\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nMinimum of 2 years Store and/or Assistant Manager position/experience in women’s apparel (or related field)\nAbility to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends. \nStrong verbal and communication skills. \nStrong observation skills - identifying and assessing customer and employee behavior, reactions, floor awareness, etc. \nAbility to retain and utilize data, i.e. names, merchandise, information, policies and procedures. \nAbility to create a quality working environment that will encourage others to develop and excel. \nFoster a work climate that inspires mutual trust, respect, professionalism and teamwork to achieve goals.\nThe base salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $80,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
