You will also support the Store Management team with opening and closing responsibilities and serve as Manager-on-Duty when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is not present.\nIn addition to your hourly base pay, you will earn up to 3% commission on individual sales, with the opportunity to earn up to 4% based on the store’s achievement of its sales goals. Commission is subject to the applicable commission plan.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nDRIVE SALES AND CLIENT EXPERIENCE\nDeliver personalized service and styling that reflects the Veronica Beard experience\nTake ownership of individual sales goals by converting in-store traffic and proactively generating business, contributing to the store’s overall performance\nBuild, maintain and engage an active client book through consistent outreach, thoughtful follow-up, community engagement, and in-store events to drive new and repeat business\nDevelop expert knowledge of our collections, fit, product stories, and styling to drive individual and store sales\nStay curious and current on fashion trends, helping clients build thoughtfully styled wardrobes that reflect their individual style.\nLEAD THE SALES FLOOR\nMaintain an active leadership presence, lead by example and help move the business forward\nCommunicate daily priorities, organize floor coverage, and lead team touch-bases\nMentor Sales Associates through team selling and thoughtful, in-the-moment coaching on selling, styling, and clienteling\nRecognize strong performance and share relevant feedback with Store Management\nHelp create an inclusive, collaborative, and results-driven environment where different perspectives are valued\nUPHOLD OUR VISUAL AND BRAND STANDARDS\nRepresent the fashion, style, and service standards of Veronica Beard with authenticity and passion\nSupport execution of floor sets and visual updates in partnership with Store Management\nEnsure merchandise, fixtures, and displays reflect current visual direction\nMaintain a clean, organized, and client-ready store environment\nCommunicate product, inventory, and visual opportunities to Store Management\nSUPPORT STORE OPERATIONS\nServe as Manager-on-Duty based on scheduling, in partnership with store leadership\nOpen and close the store and follow all key-control, cash-handling, and security procedures\nTake initiative in supporting inventory management, loss prevention, and daily operational priorities\nHelp protect company assets and maintain accuracy across cash and inventory processes\nFollow and respectfully reinforce company policies and procedures\nWHO YOU ARE\n1+ years of retail sales experience in a high-touch, client focused environment\nPrevious keyholder, senior sales, or retail leadership experience preferred\nExperience in luxury or contemporary fashion with a strong foundation in styling, and clienteling, is preferred\nPassionate about selling, fashion, styling, and building lasting client relationships\nStrong knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to create complete looks\nDemonstrated ability to take ownership and achieve individual sales goals\nConfident leading, mentoring, and supporting others with authenticity and respect\nStrong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills\nCollaborative, self-aware, and open to feedback and different perspectives\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and opening or closing shifts\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nAbility to operate a computer and cash register\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and climb ladders measuring 6-12 feet\nAbility to grasp, push, lift, and/or carry items weighing up to 25lbs\nThe base hourly range for this role is between $27.00 and $28.00. The relevant base salary will vary depending on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
