The Loan Servicing Supervisor will also be responsible for collecting on delinquent auto loans.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nProvide training, coaching, and support to Loan Servicing Specialists. \nProvide strategies and alternative solutions to Loan Servicing Specialists to reduce delinquency. \nEnsure that assigned teams meet their daily, weekly, and monthly goals. \nFollow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA). \nNegotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, including offering suggestions as to how they can meet their obligations, proposing alternative payment methods, and establishing payment procedures. \nMonitor accounts to ensure the borrower’s commitment to pay is kept. \nSpeak to borrowers who attempt to voluntarily surrender their vehicle or to keep their vehicle while maintaining loan arrangements. \nAccurately and professionally document account information and collection activities. \nUtilize skip tracing tools and reference sources to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEssential Requirements:\n5+ years of progressive experience in the subprime auto lending industry with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.\nStrong leadership skills such as communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, planning and organizing, decision making and delegation with the ability to manage and direct the work of others.\nAbility to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations. \nAbility to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner. \nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team. \nAvailable to work a flexible work schedule and
