Our work helps influence the everyday choices drivers make, so fewer people are hurt on our roads, and more families see their loved ones come home safely.\nWe are seeking a Technical Product Manager to help drive AI-enabled product delivery across our road safety technology portfolio.\nThis is a hands-on role at the intersection of product, engineering, customers and AI-enabled workflows. Using tools such as Atlas Cloud, Jira, Confluence, Claude Code, Microsoft 365, Power Automate and MCP-enabled workflows, you will turn complex information into clear requirements, delivery priorities and product decisions.\nYou do not need to be a software engineer, but you must be technically literate, confident working with engineering teams and comfortable challenging decisions where design, quality or customer outcomes are at risk.\nThis is a permanent, full-time hybrid role, working from home and our head office in South Melbourne.\nWhat you will do\nOwn product outcomes across one or more customer-facing programs.\nTranslate customer, operational and technical needs into clear PRDs, Jira backlog items and decision records.\nUse AI-enabled workflows for requirements synthesis, document analysis, status reporting and specification development.\nWork with engineering teams on architecture, integration, security, compliance and delivery decisions.\nMaintain visibility across scope, risks, dependencies, quality and outcome drift across customer programs.\nPrepare clear executive, customer-facing and technical documentation.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual work through better process design and AI-enabled workflows.\nWhat you will bring\nExperience in technical product management, product ownership, senior business analysis or technology delivery.\nStrong technical literacy across architecture diagrams, API specifications, compliance frameworks and vendor proposals.\nConfidence working with engineering teams on software, data, integration, security and delivery decisions.\nFamiliarity with AI workflows, command-line tools or platforms such as Atlas Cloud, Claude Code, Power Automate or MCP-enabled tools.\nProficiency with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.\nStrong written communication across PRDs, requirements, executive updates and decision records.\nAbility to apply constraint-led prioritisation, turning ambiguity into clear priorities, actions and outcomes.\nAn ownership mindset, with the judgement to challenge constructively, close decision gaps and follow issues through.\nCustomer-facing experience in enterprise, government, regulated industry, road safety, SaaS or systems integration environments would be highly regarded.\nWho are you?\nYou are a technically curious product professional with a bachelor’s degree in product, technology, business, systems, data, engineering or a related discipline, and 5+ years’ experience across technical product management, product ownership, senior business analysis, technology delivery or a related role.\nSoftware engineering experience is not required, but strong technical literacy is essential.\nWhy work with us?\nJoin a global road safety technology business working on solutions that help make roads safer and communities better protected.
