In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot security-critical software responsible for user and device authentication, secure network access, and private application connectivity. You will work on a large-scale production C codebase deployed across enterprise and service provider environments, taking ownership of complex features and resolving challenging technical issues. maintain authentication services, VPN connectivity, remote access, and network access control features.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex production issues using logs, GDB, core dumps, packet captures, and debugging tools.\nIntegrate authentication and identity protocols, including OIDC, SAML, Kerberos, LDAP/RADIUS, certificates, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).\nIdentify and resolve memory-safety issues, protocol defects, and vulnerabilities in security-critical C code.\nDevelop reliable, scalable, and secure software components for Linux-based networking platforms.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and root-cause analysis.\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product reliability, security, and performance.\nDocument technical designs, debugging findings, and corrective actions.\nTake ownership of features from development and testing through deployment and production support.\n\nRequirements: \n3-5 years of professional experience in C programming on Linux.\nStrong understanding of pointers, memory management, multithreading, inter-process communication (IPC), and systems programming.\nSolid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and TLS.\nHands-on experience with at least one of the following: IPsec/IKE or VPN technologies, SAML or Kerberos, LDAP/RADIUS, PKI, and digital certificates.\nExperience debugging complex software issues using GDB, core dumps, logs, and similar diagnostic tools.\nAbility to understand, troubleshoot, and enhance large existing codebases.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nUnderstanding of secure coding practices and software reliability principles.\n\nGood to Have: \nExperience with SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), firewalls, or VPN products.\nFamiliarity with endpoint management and compliance solutions, such as Microsoft Intune.\nKnowledge of YANG, NETCONF, or network configuration management.\nExperience with Python or shell scripting for automation and debugging.\nFamiliarity with static code analysis, vulnerability detection, and secure software development
