Title: Inventory Control Manager Job Details: Full-Time | In-House Location: Los Angeles, CA\nThe Role\nThe Inventory Control Manager will oversee inventory across the entire organization, from raw materials and components through work-in-process and finished goods.\nYou'll work closely with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, and Accounting to ensure inventory is accurately tracked, properly managed, and available when needed.\nThis role requires someone with strong practical knowledge of inventory management who can manage day-to-day operations while also improving systems, processes, and inventory accuracy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOversee inventory management from raw materials through finished goods.\nEstablish and maintain effective inventory control systems, processes, and procedures.\nMonitor inventory levels, movements, transactions, and discrepancies.\nLead physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.\nInvestigate inventory variances and identify the root causes of discrepancies.\nDevelop and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.\nWork closely with Purchasing and Production to ensure raw materials and components are available to support manufacturing requirements.\nMonitor work-in-process and finished goods inventory throughout the production cycle.\nImprove inventory accuracy and reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.\nDevelop and improve inventory forecasting, replenishment, and planning processes.\nEstablish appropriate inventory levels based on demand, production requirements, and lead times.\nEnsure proper receiving, storage, movement, picking, and tracking of inventory.\nEnsure physical inventory remains aligned with ERP and inventory management system records.\nAnalyze inventory data and provide management with accurate reporting and recommendations.\nIdentify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve inventory flow and operational efficiency.\nCreate, document, and maintain SOPs and inventory control procedures.\nWork cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Accounting, and other departments.\nManage inventory coordination with international suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners.\nHelp improve inventory systems, reporting, and technology used to manage inventory.\nLead, train, and develop inventory personnel as needed.\nMaintain strong controls and accountability throughout the inventory lifecycle.\nQualifications\n10+ years of experience in inventory management, inventory control, materials management, or a related field.\nExtensive experience managing inventory across the full inventory lifecycle, from raw materials to finished goods.\nWorldwide/international inventory management experience required.\nStrong experience working within a manufacturing environment.\nDeep understanding of inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimization.\nProven experience with physical inventory counts, cycle counting, audits, and inventory reconciliation.\nStrong knowledge of warehouse, receiving, production, and distribution processes.\nExperience working with ERP and/or inventory management systems.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to identify the root cause of inventory discrepancies and implement effective solutions.\nStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of inventory operations.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.\nProven leadership experience managing and developing team members.\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.\nBonus Points if You
