Working closely with Video Platform Engineering, Product, Operations, and Portfolio Management, this role drives project schedules, tracks milestones and dependencies, facilitates cross-functional delivery, and ensures risks, decisions, and action items are clearly managed. The position supports initiatives spanning video publishing, streaming, playback, metadata, content delivery, advertising, and distribution, with a strong focus on execution discipline, operational readiness, and timely delivery.\nResponsibilities\nProject Planning & Execution\nManage the execution of video platform projects from planning through implementation and launch.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items.\nCoordinate work across Engineering, Product, Operations, Infrastructure, Editorial, Advertising, and external technology partners.\nFacilitate project meetings, working sessions, readiness reviews, and status checkpoints.\nTrack progress against committed timelines and ensure project owners are aligned on deliverables and next steps.\nEscalate schedule, scope, resource, or technical risks when appropriate.\nEnsure project decisions, requirements, and delivery commitments are clearly documented.\nVideo Platform Delivery\nSupport projects across video ingestion, encoding and transcoding, metadata, playback, content delivery, streaming, and distribution capabilities.\nCoordinate technical delivery activities across multiple platform and application teams.\nSupport launch planning for new platform capabilities, migrations, upgrades, and major releases.\nCoordinate operational readiness activities, including testing, deployment planning, support coverage, documentation, and handoffs to operations teams.\nSupport readiness planning for high-profile live events and other business-critical video initiatives.\nHelp ensure changes are aligned with established release, change management, and production support processes.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nServe as a central project coordination point between technical teams and business stakeholders.\nPartner with Product Managers and engineering leads to translate requirements and priorities into executable project plans.\nCoordinate dependencies between Video Platforms and adjacent teams such as Cloud, Networking, Data, Ad Technology, Content Management, and Digital Operations.\nWork with external vendors and technology partners to track deliverables, dependencies, and issue resolution.\nFacilitate timely decisions by ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into project status, risks, and open questions.\nPortfolio Management Partnership & Reporting\nPartner with the Portfolio Management team to ensure project schedules, status, milestones, and risks are accurately reflected in portfolio planning and reporting.\nProvide project-level updates and delivery forecasts for portfolio and leadership reviews.\nSupport intake and planning activities by providing project scope, sequencing, dependency, and delivery information.\nMaintain accurate project information across Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Airtable, or similar tools.\nPrepare concise status reports, dashboards, and leadership updates.\nRisk, Issue & Dependency Management\nProactively identify and track project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.\nDrive follow-up and resolution of open actions across participating teams.\nMaintain risk, issue, and decision logs and ensure appropriate escalation.\nCoordinate mitigation and contingency plans for critical milestones and launches.\nSupport retrospectives and post-launch reviews to identify opportunities for process and execution improvements.\nBasic Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n4+ years of experience in technical project management, project management, delivery management, or a related role.\nExperience managing technology projects involving multiple engineering, product, operations, and business teams.\nStrong experience building and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers.\nExperience coordinating software, platform, infrastructure, or digital technology delivery.\nWorking knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.\nStrong organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Airtable, or comparable project management tools.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting streaming video, OTT, digital media, video publishing, or content delivery platforms.\nFamiliarity with video technologies and workflows such as encoding, transcoding, playback, DRM, metadata, CDN delivery, and live streaming.\nExperience supporting production launches, platform migrations, infrastructure upgrades, or live-event readiness.\nExperience working with Portfolio Management, PMO, or centralized planning functions.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms and modern software delivery practices.\nExperience in media, entertainment, sports, news, streaming, or digital publishing environments.\nPMP, Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe, or similar project management certification preferred.\nDesired Characteristics\nHighly organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on execution.\nComfortable working with technical teams and understanding complex system dependencies.\nAble to drive accountability and follow-through without direct authority.\nStrong judgment around prioritization, escalation, and risk
