Invest in us and we’ll invest in you!.\n Role Overview\nJoin Version 1's Oracle Cloud Managed Services practice as an Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant, specialising in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a technically driven consultant who enjoys designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade integrations while working with some of the UK's and Ireland's leading Oracle Cloud customers. You will play a key role in delivering robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions across Oracle ERP, HCM, SCM, and third-party business applications, ensuring customers maximise the value of their Oracle Cloud investments.\nAlongside integration delivery and support, you will contribute to reporting and analytics initiatives using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, helping customers gain meaningful insights from their Oracle Cloud data.\nWorking within a collaborative Managed Services environment, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise across Oracle SaaS, PaaS, and OCI technologies while working closely with customers, architects, and functional consultants to solve complex business challenges.\nKey Responsibilities\nOracle Integration Cloud\nDesign, develop, support, and enhance integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including app-driven, scheduled, event-based, and file-based integrations.\nBuild and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and external systems using REST, SOAP, file-based, and API-driven integration patterns.\nConfigure and support OIC adapters, connectivity agents, integrations, orchestrations, and supporting components.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimise integration solutions to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.\nImplement robust error handling, reprocessing strategies, exception management, and operational monitoring.\nInvestigate integration incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions.\nSupport customer enhancements, service requests, and change initiatives within live production environments.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to analyse requirements and deliver scalable, supportable solutions.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, support procedures, and knowledge articles.\nParticipate in Oracle quarterly release reviews and assess impacts to integration solutions and technical components.\nReporting & Analytics\nDesign, develop, and support reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI and related Oracle reporting technologies.\nDevelop data extracts and reporting solutions across Oracle ERP, HCM, and SCM Cloud applications.\nSupport reporting-related incidents, service requests, and enhancement activities within customer environments.\nAssist customers in translating reporting requirements into practical technical solutions.\nEnsure reporting solutions are accurate, performant, and aligned to business requirements through testing and validation.\nManaged Services & Customer Support\nProvide high-quality support for Oracle Cloud integrations and reporting solutions within a Managed Services environment.\nAct as a trusted technical advisor for customers, providing guidance on Oracle Cloud integration best practices.\nWork within established service management processes, ensuring incidents, problems, changes, and enhancements are effectively managed.\nContribute to continual service improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies.\n Essential Skills & Experience\nOracle Integration Cloud\n5-7 years of experience working with Oracle Cloud technologies, including significant hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).\nStrong experience developing and supporting integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud.\nKnowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud APIs, including REST and SOAP web services, security credentials, and integration frameworks.\nExperience integrating Oracle ERP, HCM, and SCM applications with Oracle and third-party platforms.\nStrong understanding of integration design patterns, fault handling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.\nExperience working with Oracle SaaS data interfaces, including BICC, FBDI, HDL, and file-based integrations.\nKnowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud data structures, interface tables, and business processes.\nExperience working with OIC connectivity frameworks and integration security concepts.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with:REST and SOAP Web Services\nXML, XSLT, XPath, and JSON\nSQL and PL/SQL\nData mapping and transformation techniques\n\nFamiliarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and integration security concepts.\nExperience producing technical documentation and solution designs.\nReporting & Analytics\nExperience developing and supporting reporting solutions using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI.\nUnderstanding of Oracle Fusion reporting subject areas, security models, and reporting best practices.\nExperience creating analytical reports, dashboards, and data extracts.\nProfessional Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience working directly with customers and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nDesirable Skills\nOracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).\nFusion Data Intelligence (FDI).\nOracle Visual Builder (VBCS).\nOracle Process Automation / BPM.\nExperience with CI/CD practices, source control, and DevOps methodologies.\nKnowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.\nITIL Foundation certification or experience
