Invest in us and we’ll invest in you!.\n We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure technology solutions across complex enterprise environments.\nThe successful candidate will work across both on-premises and cloud environments, providing security architecture guidance, assessing risks and vulnerabilities, and ensuring security is embedded throughout the design and delivery lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and architect security solutions aligned with business requirements, security strategy and industry best practices.\nDevelop and maintain security reference architectures, standards and architectural patterns.\nReview existing security measures and recommend improvements to strengthen the organisation's overall security posture.\nReview solution and project designs to identify security risks and ensure appropriate security controls are incorporated.\nConduct security assessments, vulnerability reviews and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.\nAssess the effectiveness of security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.\nReview and provide architectural guidance for security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs and network security solutions.\nWork closely with project managers, developers, infrastructure teams, system administrators and security teams to ensure security is embedded throughout technology delivery.\nReview security incidents, provide technical analysis and recommend appropriate remediation.\nDevelop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans and contribute to security testing and simulation exercises.\nSupport the development and implementation of security policies, procedures and standards.\nEnsure security solutions and practices align with relevant regulatory, compliance and legislative requirements.\nReview project artefacts and provide security architecture guidance throughout the solution lifecycle.\nResearch emerging security threats, technologies and solutions and recommend improvements where appropriate.\nProvide guidance, knowledge sharing and mentorship to other security professionals.\nPromote security best practices and provide security guidance and awareness across the organisation.\n Essential Experience\nStrong experience working as a Security Architect, Cyber Security Architect or in a comparable senior security role.\nDemonstrable experience designing and architecting enterprise security solutions.\nStrong understanding of security architecture principles, standards and industry best practices.\nExperience designing security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.\nStrong experience conducting security assessments, vulnerability reviews and risk analysis.\nExperience reviewing existing security architectures and recommending appropriate improvements.\nStrong knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPNs and associated security controls.\nExperience integrating security requirements into technology projects and solution designs.\nExperience with security incident response, investigation, remediation and post-incident analysis.\nUnderstanding of disaster recovery and security resilience principles.\nExperience developing or contributing to security policies, procedures, standards and reference architectures.\nUnderstanding of security-related regulatory and compliance requirements.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.\nExcellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience developing enterprise security strategies and security roadmaps.\nExperience working within complex or highly regulated enterprise environments.\nExperience supporting large-scale technology transformation or cloud programmes.\nExperience developing security architecture patterns and reusable security standards.\nExperience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other security professionals.\nRelevant professional security or architecture certifications.\n Why Version 1?\nAt Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their wellbeing, professional growth, and financial stability.\nShare in our success with our Quarterly Performance-Related Profit Share Scheme, where employees collectively benefit from a share of our company's profits \nStrong Career Progression & mentorship coaching through our Strength in Balance & Leadership schemes with a dedicated quarterly Pathways Career Development programme \nFlexible/remote working, Version 1 is tremendously understanding of life events and people’s individual circumstances and offer flexibility to help achieve a healthy work life balance \nFinancial Wellbeing initiatives including;
