Invest in us and we’ll invest in you!.\n Role Overview:\nWe are seeking a Senior Azure Administrator to provide senior-level operational and technical support across the Platform Azure team, replacing an existing Azure analyst role. The role will support multiple UK and ROI customers across Microsoft Azure, hybrid infrastructure, on-premises virtualisation and backup platforms, automation, monitoring, security, and service management activities. The successful candidate will be expected to act as a senior technical escalation point, contribute to service reliability, maintain strong documentation, and support continuous improvement across customer environments.\nProvide senior Azure administration and infrastructure support across multiple managed service customers and technologies.\nAct as an escalation point for Azure, Windows, identity, networking, monitoring, backup, and infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.\nSupport and maintain Azure services including virtual machines, storage, networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Monitor, backup, recovery, and security controls.\nWork with customers and internal teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, design practical solutions, and implement service improvements.\nSupport hybrid and on-premises environments including VMware, ESXi, Commvault, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Office 365, and related infrastructure components.\nMaintain and improve operational documentation, runbooks, technical designs, support procedures, and knowledge articles.\nOperate within structured ITIL and ISO20000 service management processes, including incident, problem, change, and request management.\nContribute to automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, standardisation, patching, monitoring, alerting, and operational improvement initiatives.\nMentor junior team members and share knowledge across the Platform Azure team.\nProvide clear customer-facing updates, technical explanations, and reporting for incidents, changes, risks, and service improvement activity.\n 7+ years’ experience working in IT infrastructure, managed services, or cloud operations.\nStrong hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft Azure environments in production.\nHands-on experience supporting on-premises infrastructure platforms, including ESXi, VMware virtualisation, and Commvault backup and recovery solutions.\nExperience supporting enterprise customers across incident, problem, change, request, and service improvement activities.\nAbility to interpret, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across cloud, identity, server, networking, monitoring, and security domains.\nStrong understanding of ITIL practices and experience working in a controlled managed service environment.\nProven ability to communicate clearly with customers, technical teams, service managers, and stakeholders.\nExperience producing high-quality documentation, technical notes, support guides, and customer-facing updates.\nAbility to work independently, prioritise workload, manage escalations, and support multiple customer environments concurrently.\nExperience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team knowledge sharing.\nRelevant Microsoft Azure certification such as AZ-104 is desirable;
