Senior Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant

Integration & Managed Services

Design. Influence. Lead.

Are you the Oracle Integration Cloud expert that others turn to when the integrations are complex, the stakes are high, and the solution needs to be right first time?

At Version 1, we're looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant to play a leading role within our Oracle Managed Services Practice. This is an opportunity to work with major enterprise organisations, solve complex business and technical challenges, and become a trusted advisor to some of the UK's most recognised brands.

You'll work at the heart of large-scale Oracle Cloud environments, helping customers maximise their Oracle investments through innovative, secure, and scalable integration solutions. More than that, you'll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, drive service innovation, and help shape the future of our Oracle Managed Services offering.

If you're passionate about Oracle Cloud technologies, enjoy working directly with customers, and want a role where your expertise genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional support role.

You'll become the technical authority for Oracle Cloud integration solutions, providing strategic guidance, technical leadership, and expert-level support across customer environments.

Working closely with customer stakeholders, functional consultants, architects, and delivery teams, you'll help organisations integrate and optimise their Oracle ERP, HCM, and SCM Cloud platforms while ensuring their business-critical services remain secure, scalable, and resilient.

You'll be trusted to solve challenging problems, improve operational performance, and identify opportunities to automate, innovate, and enhance service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

Own Business-Critical Oracle Integrations

You'll take ownership of the design, support, optimisation, and continual improvement of enterprise integration solutions.

This will include:

  • Designing and delivering robust Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions
  • Enhancing and optimising existing integrations across Oracle and third-party platforms
  • Supporting complex integration landscapes spanning SaaS, PaaS, and on-premise environments
  • Driving improvements in reliability, performance, resilience, and scalability
  • Leading technical investigations and complex problem resolution activities

Become a Trusted Technical Advisor

You'll build strong relationships with customers and act as a go-to expert for Oracle Cloud integration best practice.

You'll:

  • Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership
  • Influence design decisions and solution architecture
  • Help customers maximise the value of their Oracle Cloud investments
  • Partner with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes

Drive Innovation and Service Improvement

We're looking for someone who naturally challenges the status quo.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead root cause investigations and permanent corrective actions
  • Identify opportunities for automation and optimisation
  • Improve operational processes and service delivery standards
  • Contribute to service innovation initiatives across the Oracle Managed Services practice

Promote Operational Excellence

You'll also play a key role in maintaining the high standards our customers expect by:

  • Managing incidents, problems, and change activities in line with ITIL principles
  • Producing high-quality technical documentation and knowledge assets
  • Supporting governance, compliance, and operational best practice
  • Sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues across the wider Oracle team

You will bring:

  • In-depth experience working with Oracle integration technologies
  • Extensive hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience
  • A proven track record delivering enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud integrations
  • Experience supporting and enhancing business-critical integration services
  • Strong customer-facing consulting and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience operating within Managed Services, Application Support, or operational support environments
  • The ability to lead technical discussions and provide expert guidance to both technical and non-technical audiences

Deep Oracle Integration Cloud Expertise

You'll have extensive hands-on experience with:

  • Integration design, development, deployment, and support
  • OIC orchestration and integration patterns
  • Fault handling and exception management
