Invest in us and we’ll invest in you!.\n We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Service Transition Project Manager to join our team.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects and transition initiatives, leading activities from initiation, planning and governance through to implementation, service introduction, operational readiness and successful handover into support.\nYou will work across business, operational and technical teams, managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery and business outcomes.\nYou will lead a broad range of initiatives including service transitions, technology deployments, operational change, service improvements and transformation projects, ensuring delivery is aligned to strategic objectives and customer requirements.\nYou will support clients and internal stakeholders across all aspects of project delivery, including requirements gathering, planning, governance, financial management, service acceptance, go-live activities and project closure.\nSC Eligible/Active SC Candidates may apply.\nYou'll be responsible for:\nLead the successful delivery of projects and transition initiatives across the business, ensuring objectives, timescales, budgets and quality expectations are achieved.\nDefine and document project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, assumptions and success criteria in collaboration with customers and stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance documentation, status reporting and stakeholder communications.\nManage project risks, issues, actions, dependencies and decisions to ensure successful outcomes.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.\nDrive effective project governance and ensure compliance with agreed delivery methodologies and standards.\nLead the development and execution of service transition and operational readiness strategies to ensure seamless onboarding of new or changed services.\nLead the coordination and delivery of controlled and governed service introductions in line with best practice, agreed service standards and strategic objectives.\nEnsure delivery is consistent with agreed delivery models, contractual obligations and organisational standards.\nManage Acceptance into Service (AIS) activities and Go-Live decisions, ensuring service risks are identified, understood and appropriately mitigated.\nEnsure third-party suppliers are effectively engaged and managed to support project and service delivery objectives.\nManage escalations proactively to minimise impacts on project and operational delivery.\nAct as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers and key stakeholders throughout project delivery and transition activities.\nCoordinate knowledge transfer, documentation, training and support readiness activities.\nProduce support cost estimates associated with new products, services or project outcomes.\nEnsure all project and transition deliverables meet agreed customer and stakeholder requirements.\nFollow agreed governance processes relating to status management, risk and issue management, change control, deliverable management, decision management and planning.\nSupport pre-sales activities, solution development and business growth opportunities where required.\n You'll Ideally Have The Following Skills And Experience\nProven experience in Project Management, Service Transition, Service Delivery or Operational Change within a technology or managed services environment.\nMinimum of 5 years' experience delivering projects across IT services, managed services, technology change or operational transformation environments.\nStrong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, governance, budgeting, resource management, risk management and stakeholder engagement.\nExperience delivering projects through the full lifecycle from initiation through to implementation and closure.\nStrong understanding of service transition, operational readiness and service introduction principles.\nWorking knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.\nExperience working within complex, fast-paced delivery environments.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business, operational and technical audiences.\nExperience managing third-party suppliers and external delivery partners.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing requirements.\nA self-starter who is highly organised and able to manage workload effectively.\nPassion for delivering successful projects while protecting and improving live service operations.\nAble to commute to the office regularly and travel to customer locations when required.\nDesirable Qualifications\nPRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM PMQ or equivalent Project Management qualification.\nITIL Foundation or higher certification.\nExperience within enterprise managed
