At Versiti, we are passionate about improving the lives of patients and helping our healthcare partners thrive.\nPosition Summary\nLeads the development and execution of blood inventory strategies to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and support patient and customer needs. Oversees inventory management, product allocation, transfers, imports and exports, forecasting, and shortage mitigation while driving operational performance, minimizing waste, and ensuring regulatory compliance.\nTotal Rewards Package\nCompensation The target salary for this position is $105,202/yr.The target salary is based on internal averages. Versiti sets salary ranges aligned to local markets in which the job is performed. Compensation decisions take into account internal salary averages and differentiation based on education, experience, skills, and performance. Full-time regular employes are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays, Short- and Long-term disability, life insurance, 7% match dollar for dollar 401(k), voluntary programs, discount programs, others.\nResponsibilities\nOversees centralized blood inventory management, allocation, resource sharing, and distribution strategies across affiliates. Directs inventory forecasting and demand planning processes to ensure product availability; minimize outdates; and optimize inventory investment.\nManages inventory levels across affiliates, including imports, exports, inter-site transfers, and shortage mitigation activities. Communicates inventory outlook, risks, and recommendations to leadership.\nEstablishes inventory policies, procedures, and performance expectations to support consistent execution across the enterprise. Analyzes inventory performance metrics, forecast accuracy, fill rates, import expense, and waste trends. Implements improvement plans as needed.\nPartners with Planning, Collections, Hospital Services, Client Success, Business Development, IRL, and Operations leaders to align supply with customer demand.\nLeads process improvement and operational execellence initiatives.\nAccountable for human resource management activities, including hiring, scheduling, mentoring, discipline, and termination in collaboration with Human Resources and in compliance with Versiti policies.\nManages all aspects of departmental training functions to ensure incumbent and new staff is competent in all job-related tasks.\nSets direction for staff development including goal setting and personal and departmental performance in all job-related tasks. Responsible for building and maintaining a positive team culture and employee experience.\nPerforms other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job procedures\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in related field required\nMaster's Degree in business preferred\nExperience\n4-6 years of relevant experience, to include operational,
