Submit your application and let’s turn possibilities into reality!\nWhat you will be doing: \nThe Vertex Technical Operations-Drug Product team is looking for a motivated Co-op to join our team this spring. The Co-op will be responsible for assessing historical manufacturing/process data to identify trends and identify oppurtunities to improve the process. The Co-op will have the opportunity to interact with multiple departments (Drug Product Operations, Quality Operations and Analytical Development), as well as work with talented people from different cultures and backgrounds.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAnalyze historical manufacturing/process data to identify trends, patterns, variability and potential process drivers- \nPerform data cleaning, visualization and statistical analysis using tools such as JMP, Excel or Power BI\nDevelop meaningful visualizations and dashboards to communicate process performance and emerging trends\nPartner with Manufacturing Science & Technology and Quality teams to translate data into actionable process insights.\nCollaborate in a cross-functional team to develop solutions\nIdentify opportunities to improve process monitoring, data utilization and manufacturing performance.\nPresent findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nQualifications:\nMust be enrolled in a College/University and have at least finished one year of a Master’s or phD degree in Chemical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with a strong background in statistics and data analytics.\nStrong self-initiative, communication, and interpersonal and relationship skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in manufacturing process data\nProficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization.\nProficiency in Excel; experience with JMP /Minitab is preferred.\nMinimum 3.5 GPA\nLegal authorization to work in the United States, now and in the future.
