They will be responsible for the planning and execution of multiple concurrent initiatives for the VertexOne Deployment Project Management Office (PMO). \nThis position will lead other teams at VertexOne to execute multiple project objectives, including deliverables, budget performance, and schedule adherence.\nThe role needs a highly experienced strategic leader and communicator with a positive \"can do\" attitude and a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering solutions. Individuals need to take responsibility, be organized, and demonstrate a professional approach to their work.\nEssential Job Duties:\nIdentify and plan projects to achieve business objectives and develop project charters\nDevelop detailed project plans ensuring that all tasks are appropriately scheduled (dependency, dates, resources, effort) and aligned with business objectives\nIdentify key stakeholders and manage internal and external expectations\nManage resources, communicate responsibilities and ensure accountability to completing deliverables\nCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure an effective governance model is defined and implemented to ensure project success\nManage change requests and control scope \nDocument and manage risks, action items, issues, constraints, assumptions, escalating as appropriate\nWork through challenges to problem solve, mitigate risk and ensure successful delivery.\nIdentify and negotiate with management to allocate sufficient resources and obtain help to successfully execute\nManage communications across cross-functional teams, executives and external stakeholders\nEstablish and maintain relationships with the client stakeholders \nPrepare for and lead Steering Committee meetings\nMonitor project progress and provide ongoing project status reporting.
